A Relational Approach – A Better Process

A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER, LOUISE PHIPPS SENFT

Baltimore Mediation was established in 1993 by Louise Phipps Senft as the first mediation firm in the State of Maryland with all services from a transformative approach.  Our process is intentionally relational – a better process .. for a better outcome. Whether mediating a conflict between two people or a group, facilitating a difficult conversation for a department or board of directors, or designing a strategic planning process for a management or executive team, Louise and the Baltimore Mediation team are expert dialogue brokers who bring about authentic breakthroughs resulting in more informed decision making and  unimagined satisfying outcomes.
Reach us by phone at 443-524-0833  - Monday – Friday – 9am -530pm Eastern.

For 20 years, the consultants at Baltimore Mediation have been in the day-to-day business of mediating interpersonal and multi-party disputes and facilitating divergent group dialogue, and providing the highest quality training and mentoring in conflict transformation and mediation. We are among the leadership in our profession and have a number of trainings immediately available for open registration.

Our emphasis is placed on quality dialogue as a pathway to common ground and greater understanding in relationship disputes. Along the way, problems get solved, healing occurs and parties gain clarity in decision making. That is the beauty of the transformative approach to conflict resolution and we specialize in making the conversation happen.

Baltimore Mediation has assisted in thousands of conflicts and disputes in business and workplace relationships and in family relationships – including marital and separation & divorce, and many other situations.

We are the premiere divorce mediation firm in Maryland, and we have an extensive history of success in assisting parties with family relationships, including separation and children custody/parenting plans, while also helping them cope with emotions and improve communication. In just a few sessions we can help you make these decisions, saving you lots of time and money otherwise spent in litigation.

As facilitators, we have designed and facilitated hundreds of board meetings, business meetings and retreats and, through our standard and customized trainings, have equipped thousands of professionals across the country with proven techniques and strategies to work through problems and mediate conflict.

Here are our upcoming trainings offered for open registration to qualified interested parties.

Separation

MEDIATION WORKS FOR SEPARATING COUPLES OR FAMILIES

Separation is sometimes used to give couples a chance to get a better perspective on their relationship. The mediator facilitates meaningful dialogue and informed decision-making about difficult and often complex issues surrounding a decision to separate or whether or not there will be a separation, and the consequences of a separation, positive and negative. Separation may also be a step closer to divorce. Mediation can help couples get clear about these decisions. Mediation can also help couples get clear about other resources they may also need, including working with a marriage counselor, individual therapist or counselor, or spiritual advisor, in conjunction with their joint decision making in the mediation process (though use of these resources is not mandatory.)
