Conflict Transformation: A 40-Hour Advanced Mediation and Conflict Transformation Skills Training

The Kentucky Bar Association in collaboration with Baltimore Mediation, is once again offering an advanced 40-hour mediation training in Lexington, Kentucky, taught by Louise Phipps Senft.

This is a certificated 20-hour advanced mediation training. Much of the content in this course builds on what you learn in our basic mediation trainings, which you can learn more about here. If you’re looking for more advanced trainings, check here.

Training Focus
• Understand the underlying conflict theories behind mediation practice.
• Learn the latest in neuroscience and its relevance for mediation.
• Understand fundamental transformative mediation skills and theory.
• Deal with intense emotions and working with resistance.
• Enhance self-awareness and controlling personal reactions.
• Learn how to receive and give constructive feedback.
• Understand Mediator’s Guidelines and Ethical Standards of Conduct.
• Experience high-tech, simultaneous live feedback from master coach in
advanced teaching forum.

Individuals who complete the training will receive a certificate recognized by the Association for Conflict Resolution, the Federal Shared Neutrals Program and the Office of Mediation of the Kentucky Administrative Office of the Courts.

Continuing Mediation Education and Continuing Legal Education credits will be available.
